Our Art
6th class have created some incredible pieces of Art over the last few months. Here are a few examples of what they have made. Well done 6th Class.

Gardening:
Sixth class are in charge of the big tidy up this Autumn, and they did a super job around the garden. Soil health is important, so we planted Green Manure (sounds smelly but it’s not!) In Spring, we will dig in the plants that grow into the soil before we plant. This puts nutrients like Nitrogen into the soil and allows it to regenerate.

We are using IKEA bags to plant peas and we ourselves are planting kale in the tunnel. We also planted Spring bulbs along the path.

We are so lucky to have a school poly tunnel. This was built by Kayla’s parents. Thanks to them, we will be able to grow a wider variety of fruit, vegetables, herbs and salads.

We also pulled up the old strawberry plants and put in a blackberry and raspberry bush instead. Lucy is our in-house expert!

Alfie did a massive tidy up of the ivy that was sneaking up our rainbow wall – go raibh maith agat, Alfie!
